The swirling tail feathers of the mythical giant 'simurgh', a benevolent female bird-being from Persian tales. The motif is from a glazed tile from 13th-century Iran, which can be seen at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

These earring pendants are made from plated brass, and the glass cabochons are 10mm across. All earrings have sterling silver hooks and come in a sturdy black card gift box.
